LGA’s bi-annual conferences and regional seminar keep members up to date on issues of local government law, trial and appellate practice, and related fields. Programs offer 6–10 hours of MCLE credit, with ethics credit offered annually. The annual business meeting is held in conjunction with programs. LGA’s conference locations are selected by the Board of Directors at least one year in advance and rotate through five major geographic regions: West of I-81, Piedmont, Central, Tidewater, and Northern Virginia.
