Jeffrey L. Mincks (Chesterfield County) and Julia B. Judkins (Bancroft, McGavin, Horvath &  Judkins, PC)  were  recently inducted  into the  Virginia  Law Foundation’s Fellows Class of 2018. As noted by the organization’s website, “Fellows are nominated confidentially by their peers,” and “are recognized as leaders in the profession, not just in their practices but in their communities.” Notably, Jeff and Julia are just two of several LGA participants who have joined this illustrious group over the years.

MinhChau N. Corr has been named Deputy Arlington County Attorney. “MinhChau has been a valued member of the County Attorney’s Office [since January 2010] and has contributed greatly to ensuring the County receives high quality legal services and advice,” said Arlington County Attorney Stephen A. MacIsaac. “I am confident her considerable skills and commitment to public service will serve the County, and me, well as she assumes the responsibilities of the Deputy County Attorney."

Brian Prater recently joined Greehan, Taves & Pandak PLLC as an associate. Brian earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in both Philosophy and Economics from Franklin & Marshall College. His interest in local government was whetted by an internship at the Office of the Corporation Counsel for the City of Waterbury, Connecticut, as well as working as a law clerk for a firm that specializes in land use and zoning. Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman is pleased to welcome Leslie A. Winneberger to the firm’s Richmond office as Of Counsel. A 1999 graduate of the College of William & Mary School of Law, Leslie has 17 years of civil litigation experience and will continue her practice defending claims involving local government and law enforcement, civil rights, labor and employment, and religious institutions, as well as general litigation.
