The Fauquier County Attorney’s Office is looking for an experienced attorney and leader for the position of Deputy County Attorney. The position reports directly to the County Attorney. Duties will include providing legal and litigation assistance to the County’s boards, commissions, departments, Constitutional Officers and agencies. A preferred candidate must have at 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney and at least 5 years of experience as a counsel to a Virginia local government with both significant land use law and civil litigation experience.
