LGA's conference locations are selected by the board of directors at least one year in advance. To ensure that conferences are held throughout the state, sites are rotated among five major geographic regions: West of I-81, Piedmont, Central, Tidewater, and Northern Virginia.

Conference registration materials will be mailed approximately two months prior to the date of the conference.
